Join Leah Initiative in The Fight for Environment
The LEAH Initiative was founded by Leah Namugerwa, a Ugandan climate activist, with one urgent mission: to protect our planet and secure a better future for every child. We believe that no child should grow up in a world poisoned by pollution, threatened by hunger, or ignored in decision-making.
Through education, advocacy, and action, we empower communities to plant trees, fight food insecurity, and raise youth voices for climate justice. Our work is driven by volunteers, partners, and young people who refuse to accept inaction as an option.
This is more than an organization it’s a movement of resilience, collaboration, and hope. Together, we can turn frustration into action and create a world where every child thrives in a healthy environment.

From tree planting to waste management education, our climate projects transform words into change. Our flagship Birthday Trees campaign encourages individuals to plant trees as a celebration of life turning personal milestones into acts of restoration.
Hunger for No One
No one should go hungry. We champion sustainable agriculture, urban gardens, and community feeding programs that provide nutritious meals and empower families to grow their own food.
